Summary |
---|
The course in its first part introduces students to the functioning of water management organizations and explains the basic economic concepts (business assets, costs, revenues, profit, price calculations and statistics). The second part of the course focuses on the structure and types of water economic companies and their management. It also deals with the company strategic management, its human resources and corporate culture. |
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit |

Characterize water management organizations and their activities. Understand the economic aspects of business, explain the property structure of a company, its economic result and price calculations. Acquire knowledge of theoretical background for strategic and personnel management. Evaluate the level of corporate culture in the company. |
