Summary |
---|
The aim of this course is to merge the knowledge and competencies acquired by students during the previous study. For this reason, the requirements - imposed on students - a complex character (ie move only in terms of knowledge, but also attitude and skill). Students will be able to provide information to work with the practice, demonstrate broad survey and evaluate the context related to the issue. Part of the study excursion to manufacturing plants where they will learn about the operational issues of individual industries. The lectures are also expert presentation on the topic. |
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit |

Knowledge rendered after completion of the course: Students are familiar with the issues and knows the theoretical problems associated with the production of individual industries. He is able to distinguish the degree of load on the environment.
Skills rendered after completion of the course the student is able to use conventional and innovative methods to analyze the effects of industry and propose appropriate technological and manufacturing processes to reduce the negative influence of industry on the environment. |

4. Secondary effects of underground mining on the environment.
5. Surface mining.
6. Production of coke and the effects of this production.
7. Energy - heat and power plant.
8. Extraction of oil, its production, treatment, transportation.
9. Metallurgical Industry. Engineering industry.
10.Consumer Products.
11.Old ecological burdens and their removal.
12.BAT and BREF.
13.Possibilities of limiting the extraction, protection of mineral resources, recycling, consumption. |
