Summary
The purpose of this subject is mastering of Microsoft Word, especially control of large documents. We will focus as well to on-line Google applications as the future of software distribution and usage.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
Basic knowledge of Microsoft office applications. Ability to clarify and define the problem principles. Describe basic steps of problem's solution. Schedule a complete final application based on solutions requirements with possibility of change and modification.
Course Contents
1. Repeat the basic and advanced formatting options in Word.
2. Format your document with styles.
3. Imagies and graphics formating and properties
4. Tables and forms.
5. Headers and footers, using partitions.
6. Word document templates.
7. Managing long documents - subdocuments.
8. Excel formating and case study- database for mass mailings. I.
9. Excel formating and case study- database for mass mailings. II.
10. Word Mass Mailings - Mail Merge.
11. Word document using macros.
12. Online application - Google Apps basic introduction I.
13. Online application - Google Apps basic introduction II.
14. Individual Project
