Summary
The aim of the subject is to provide to students the basic theoretical foundations and practical knowledge in the sphere of ownership corporate control (especially point-stock companies) abroad and in the Czech Republic. The tutorials facilitate to verify the acquired knowledge on case studies.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
1.To understand the basic problems of ownership corporate control in the context with contemporary economic conditions, to resolve the basic tasks of corporate governance.
2.To approach to actual problems in a creative way.
3.To adapt the theoretical foundations in the specific conditions of Czech Republic.
4.To know basic methods of solving problems of ownership corporate control.
5.Apply theoretical knowledge to practical cases of corporate governance.

11th Evaluating the level of corporate governance and codes of good practice
12th Failure of Corporate Governance
13th The key issues of the development of corporate governance in the 21st century
