Summary
Students can work with the business model system EMA.PM, concrete with the procuts-cost model, producing model and financial model. It will explained them the core of the simulation model creating, which is based on the system dynamics methods. The will work with Powersim software support, which supports this method.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
Subject offers possibility to gain basic theoretical knowledge and practical skills to create, test and applicate business process models with using available SW products.
Course Contents
1. Introducing to the systems theory and systems thinking.
2. Economics-mathematical modeling, model classification.
3. Structural analysis of business processes. Structural models of interdisciplinary relationships.
4. Software support of structural models. Business model systém EMA.PM.
5. Product-cost model, productions model and financial model in EMA.PM environment.
6. Software support of structural models – other available products.
7. Soft systems metodology, approaches to the model creating.
8. Fundament of systems dynamics
9. Stages of creating model process by helping of systems dynamics.
10. Systems dynamics software support. Introducing of Powersim SW product.
11. Simulation model software support – other available SW products – main characteristics and differences.
12. Simulation models – creating and testing.
13. Logistic processes and its simulation model possibilities.
