Summary
The aim of the subject is to to bring students the basic knowledge of definitions, structure, methods, managing and planning in the field of processes of production and services and therefore set up the base of knowledge and information for the next subjects related to economical system of the company and its management. Students will be introduced with key concepts and aspects of the management of production and services, particularly in the production structure, its organization and planning, standardization, quality control and human resources. Within lectures are explained basic tools, methods and procedures of the production system and the possibility in solving problem situations in practice. Students will also learn to evaluate the resulting economic effects of management processes in production and service relating to the optimization of their progress and resources.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
1.To familiarize students with key terminology in planning, organizing and managing the process of production and service.
2.To explain the basic tools, methods and procedures applied in the management of the production system.
3.To show possibilities of practical implementation of the managements' tools and methods.
4.To learn to quantify and evaluate the resulting economic effects in relation to optimization their process and resources.
