Summary
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
Students will acquire specific and deeper knowledge and skills:
- to use advanced analytical methods;
- to make the outputs achieved;
- to design new solutions.
Course Contents
The Subject is led by individual diploma thesis supervisors according to the specialized topics solved within the study program Public Economics and Administration. The content of the course is focused on the elaboration and completion of the diploma thesis and all their particulars according to the Diploma thesis assignment.
Students should:
- consult the process and processing of the theoretical and application parts of the diploma thesis with the supervisor of the diploma thesis or with other experts (eg from practice);
- in their thesis, it their pays attention to interpretation of achieved results, suggestions of possible ways of solving identified problems and risks, discussion in the context of knowledge of other authors and final evaluation of the solved topic of the thesis in the context of set goals.
The students submits the complete elaboration of the diploma thesis to the supervisor of the diploma thesis within the set deadline, in accordance with the thesis assignment and the principles for elaboration of the final thesis, valid at the Faculty of Economics, VŠB-TU Ostrava.
