Summary
Preparation of the practical part of the bachelor's thesis and its finalization, preparation for defense of bachelor's thesis within state final examination.
The student submits the bachelor's thesis in two copies within the given deadline.
The terms and conditions for awarding, elaborating and submitting the bachelor's thesis are set out in the Study and Examination Rules for Study in the Bachelor's Degree Programs of the VSB - Technical University of Ostrava and the Dean's Directive of EkF VSB-TU Ostrava on the principles for the preparation of the final papers.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
1.To elaborate the theoretical and practical part of the bachelor thesis.
2.To order and quote theoretical findings based on academic resources.
3.To demonstrate knowledge of special terminology, define terms and describe mutual relationships.
4.To explicate theories relating to the chosen subject of the bachelor thesis.
5.To analyze initial conditions in the chosen organization.
6.To apply obtained theoretical findings to management practice of the chosen organization.
7.To apply the knowledge to formulate recommendations for the described management.
8.To mind given standards of formal layout of bachelor theses.
9.To submit the bachelor thesis in 2 originals, in time according to the study schedule.
Course Contents
Lectures are not part of the range of subject. Given the individual focus of undergraduate work and the specificity of the conditions individual consultation to the needs of individual students and stage of work on the bachelor project is ongoing.
