Summary
In this course, student proceeds particular topic of the diploma thesis. The output is submitting the significant part of the diploma thesis. Student obtains the information on quotation, how to work with literature etc. Student must be able to specify clearly and in an understandable manner, the objective of the thesis, procedure and methods applied.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
Aim of the course is to work-out diploma´s thesis.
Student should be able:
- to prove the ability to process given topic,
- correclty apply selected methods and approaches,
- to interpret the results and counsel them.
Course Contents
The students proceed the diploma thesis and are supervised by internal thesis supervisor together with the cooperation with the external expert.
Students choose topic of the diploma thesis form the following:
- banking and insurance
- tax systems
- tax theory and practice
- financial models and financial modelling
- financial management and decision-making
- financial markets
- managing risks in banking and insurance
- fiscal theory and policy
- company´s financial performance assessment
- managing of financial institutions
- monetary policy
- international finance
- company valuation and acquisitions
