Summary
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
Students will be able to orient themselves in Czech politics, explain the basic rules and mechanisms of practical politics. Students will be guided to look critically at political competition, the presentation of political ideologies and the fulfillment of electoral promises.
Course Contents
The content of the course will follow four topics:
- policy basic assumptions and tools of its operation;
- politics during election campaigns;
- politics and media;
- spatial specifics of policy (local, regional and national).
