Interdisciplinarity is the use of approaches, ways of thinking or at least methods of different scientific fields in a single basic or applied research project. The interdisciplinary way of working includes several independent sciences that use their methods to study some mainly scientific question. During the course, students become familiar with the formal and content side of work on the selected project topic, which is bordering on their own field of study and fields of energy, renewable and alternative energy sources, transport, construction and (geo)tourism, and the key word is sustainability.
The student consults in person / online and processes the topic of the project in the form of a text, an abstract of this text, a presentation and a poster. Based on the work during the semester, the development of the project and the public presentation, it is evaluated by an independent opponent and receives a certificate of completion of the course containing the evaluation of the opponent.
