The June visit to the Institut de Chimie et Procédés pour l'Énergie, l'Environnement et la Santé (ICPEES CNRS) at the University of Strasbourg as part of the Czech-French bilateral project “Research into new sustainable approaches for the synthesis of zeolites and hybrid zeolite-carbon structures for catalytic and sorption applications” (supported by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports) was a very enriching and inspiring experience for Dr. Lenka Matějová.
With members of the Énergie et carburant pour un environnement durable group, in particular Dr. Ksenia Parhomenko, Dr. Benoît Louis, Axel, Claire, and others, Dr. Matějová had the opportunity to engage in open and inspiring discussions on scientific and non-scientific topics and to get to know their laboratory.
“A big thank you goes to Director Prof. Cuong Pham-Huo and all other colleagues for their warm welcome and for providing space for planning future internships and joint projects,” said Lenka Matějová. “I look forward to repaying their hospitality when I visit Ostrava,” she added.
