The amount of the scholarship depends on the weighted study average, which is calculated based on graded courses and the credits earned for each course. It is awarded in three categories; each faculty sets its own amount. You can obtain up to 12,000CZK at most faculties, in case of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science the amount is up to 40,000CZK.

It is typically awarded, for example, for a student’s outstanding achievements in elite sports, but it may also be granted to doctoral students for their research, development, or innovation activities. This scholarship also recognizes outstanding scientific, research, development, innovation, artistic, or other creative achievements; it is also awarded to students for their work for the faculty or university academic senate.
is meant for full-time doctoral students who may apply for it each academic year for the duration of the standard program. Starting in the 2025/2026 academic year, the doctoral scholarship becomes part of the so-called doctoral study income, which may consist of the doctoral scholarship and a portion of the salary/ salary (only full-time employment, not part-time or temporary contracts) for work related to the preparation of their dissertation (applies to doctoral students enrolled after September 1, 2025). The minimum amount of the doctoral study income is tied to the minimum wage and amounts to CZK 26,880 per month for the 2026/2027 academic year. The stipend is paid retroactively.
