This PhD position is part of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Doctoral Network QUESTING, which connects leading European universities and research institutions. The programme aims to educate a new generation of experts in quantum technologies.
Your research will focus on optimizing Quantum Key Distribution (QKD), specifically improving the efficiency of secure key generation during the post-processing phase.
What you will work on
• research in quantum networks and quantum cryptography (QKD)
• design and optimization of algorithms (LDPC, Polar codes)
• application of machine learning methods for network optimization
• working with real data and simulation tools
• collaboration on international research projects
The PhD programme also includes international secondments:
• University of Essex (United Kingdom)
• Austrian Institute of Technology (Austria)
