Prevention is one of the key pillars of a healthy and sustainable campus. As part of the Healthy Campus initiative, VSB – Technical University of Ostrava will, in cooperation with the Czech AIDS Help Society, regularly provide free and anonymous testing for sexually transmitted infections (STIs) for students, employees and the general public.
Supporting health, prevention and access to healthcare services are essential elements of a sustainable university environment. As part of the Healthy Campus initiative, through which VSB – Technical University of Ostrava is working towards international Healthy Campus certification, we are launching another preventive activity aimed at promoting the health and wellbeing of the university community and the public.
In cooperation with the Czech AIDS Help Society, the University will offer regular free and anonymous testing for sexually transmitted infections (STIs). The service will be available to students, employees and the general public once a month in front of Building C (Kruhovka).
Accessible prevention and early detection of infections play an important role in protecting both individual and public health. Regular testing helps people take responsibility for their health, protects their partners and contributes to a healthier and more informed community.
