The Central Library of VSB-TUO is located on the Poruba campus, with additional library branches at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and the Faculty of Safety Engineering. The library’s services are available not only to students, but also to teaching and research staff and the general public. The library is more than just a place to borrow books. You also have access to a wide range of electronic information resources, including academic articles, e-books and databases. You can use a variety of study spaces, individual study rooms, two computer study rooms equipped with data projectors, and services such as printing, copying and scanning. Ring binding is also available. If you need help finding sources, citing references or working with academic databases, our library staff will be happy to assist you. The library also offers training sessions and courses on topics such as finding academic information, citing sources and working with information resources.
