Required expertise:

Excellence demonstrated by outstanding scientific results and internationally recognized contributions in quantum communications, photonics and optics, particularly in Quantum Key Distribution, Optical and fibre-optic sensors.

Strong expertise is expected in the design, modelling, characterization, and application of quantum technologies incl. quantum cryptography, optical sensing platforms, fiber-laser systems, and optical signal generation, propagation, processing, and detection.

440 - Katedra telekomunikační techniky

• Responsible for the implementation of the research program „COMMUNICATIONS TECHNOLOGY“ in a live laboratory, transferring experience to other members of the research team.
• Conducts independent research and manages his/her own research team or the work of other researchers (senior researcher, junior researcher, and others).
• Seeking opportunities for collaboration in the scientific community.
• Participates in the preparation of other projects from national and international sources.·       

• Foreign/Excellence/Key Researcher with outstanding scientific results in the field on an international scale with a high contribution to the research areas of quantum communications and sensing, quantum optics, quantum networks, optical and fibre-optic sensors, advanced optical systems, and advanced computational mathematics.
• Excellent publication activity, H-index min. 40 (WoS), min. 100 publications in high-impact journals (WoS) or verifiable 5,000 citations (WoS).
• Ability to work independently, and actively participate in R&D projects, experience in managing large international teams, demonstrable involvement in solving international projects, long-term international cooperation, 3 acquired projects in last 10 years.
• Prerequisites for further scientific work (ability to work independently and to publish outputs in high-impact journals).
• Active knowledge of the English language.
