Job Description
- Laboratory Specialist in Phase Change Materials (PCMs) and Heat Transfer Fluids (HTFs).

Design and synthesis of novel phase change materials (PCMs) and heat transfer fluids (HTFs), including their characterization using thermal analysis (TA) techniques.
-
Collaboration in the preparation of research reports, presentations, and project proposals funded by national and international funding programmes.
-
Conducting independent research while collaborating with other members of the research team.

Publishing research results in peer-reviewed journals and presenting them at international conferences.
-
Collection, processing, and interpretation of experimental data.
-
Participation in research activities within the respective Living Lab and collaboration on research conducted in other Living Labs.

Building and maintaining collaborations with partner institutions.

We Require
- Ph.D. degree in Materials Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field.

Proficiency in English at CEFR level C1.

Extensive hands-on experience and expertise in thermal analysis and calorimetry techniques, including DTA, DSC, TG, and dilatometry, as well as their simultaneous variants (TG/DTA and TG/DSC) and coupled techniques involving MS and/or GC/MS.

Experience with thermal conductivity measurements and the evaluation of kinetic data obtained from thermoanalytical techniques (TG, DTA, DSC, and dilatometry).

Proficiency in relevant software tools for data analysis and visualization.

Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a strong publication record in high-impact peer-reviewed journals in the fields of Materials Chemistry, Energy, Materials Science, or related disciplines.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary research team.

Excellent organisational skills with a strong attention to detail.
