Job Description
The Laboratory Specialist:- Performs the characterization and measurement of the thermophysical properties of materials using thermal analysis methods.
- Designs and synthesizes new phase change materials (PCMs) and heat transfer fluids (HTFs), including their testing using thermal analysis (TA) methods.
- Contributes to the preparation of research reports, presentations, and project proposals funded through national and international programmes.
- Conducts research independently and collaborates with other members of the research team.
- Actively publishes research results and presents them at international conferences.
- Collects, processes, and interprets measurement data.
- Participates in the research activities of the relevant Living Lab and/or collaborates on research carried out in other Living Labs.
- Contributes to establishing contacts and developing cooperation with partner institutions.

We Require
- At least a completed university degree in materials chemistry, materials science, or a related field.
- Extensive hands-on experience and strong practical skills in thermal analysis and calorimetry techniques, including DTA, DSC, TG, and dilatometry, as well as their simultaneous variants such as TG/DTA and TG/DSC, and their combination with MS and/or GC/MS. Experience in thermal conductivity measurements and in the evaluation of kinetic data obtained from thermoanalytical techniques (TG, DTA, DSC, dilatometry).
- English language proficiency at C1 level.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools for data analysis and visualization.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience in publishing in highly ranked journals in the fields of materials chemistry, energy, materials science, or related disciplines.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
