He was officially welcomed by the Vice-Dean for Science and Research, Professor Radek Martinek, who initiated and organized the visit as part of the faculty’s efforts to strengthen international cooperation.
The main objective of the visit was to discuss potential collaboration in research, joint publications, project development, and especially student exchange and involvement of young researchers in international activities. As a key outcome of the meeting, a memorandum of understanding was ceremonially signed between VSB – Technical University of Ostrava and the University of Belgrade.
The University of Belgrade is one of the most prominent higher education institutions in Southeast Europe. The newly formed partnership provides a solid foundation for long-term collaboration in the fields of engineering and natural sciences. It is expected that these ties will further enhance international research excellence and academic mobility on both sides.
