Thanks to the targeted support of large infrastructures by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, research infrastrukture ENREGAT – Energy Waste Recovery and Gas Treatment LM2018098 is available in open access mode for wide scientific community from the 2019 year. The uniqueness of ENREGAT infrastructure lies in the ability to perform basic and applied research focused on several waste-to-energy technologies from the laboratory up to pilot plant scale for a wide range of waste and thus to assess the suitability of the technology for the selected type of waste. Additionally, it allows research on a number of technologies for the abatement of different gaseous pollutants (e.g. nitrogen oxides, carbon dioxide, organic substances) through laboratory tests up to pilot scale verification.
Eligible applicants for gaining an open access to the ENREGAT infrastructure are individual scientists and researchers, including students (Bc, MSc and PhD). The following two user groups are expected to use the infrastructure ENREGAT in open access mode:
- students and researchers from the hosting organization VŠB-TUO,
- students and researchers beyond the hosting organization (Czech, foreign).
All operational costs, costs associated with the standard operation of the equipment and laboratory testing units (including the personal costs of operators, energy and defined consumable material) are covered by ENREGAT research infrastructure. No support is provided for travel, accommodation and allowance.
