VSB-TUO celebrates 170 years’ anniversary this year
VSB - Technical University of Ostrava celebrates its birthday. It is already 170 years old.
The original two faculties focused on mining and metallurgy have grown to seven. The celebrations have been taking place throughout the year, the university commemorating traditional disciplines and significant milestones in the life of the university. For example, the Art & Science University Festival was held in the spirit of the celebrations.
