Bc. Vít Němčic succeeded in the category of Engineering Constructions for his work entitled Restoration and Reconstruction of a Beam Bridge from Prefabricated Beams. The jury awarded the prize for extensive research on the issue of bridges made of prefabricated KA-type supports, both their development, static impact and the most common defects arising during their operation. Furthermore, for specific examples of diagnostics and a sample proposal for possible remediation and study of manual calculation of bending moments compared to available software.
