Information about Graduation Ceremony

Dear graduates of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, VSB – Technical University of Ostrava,

We regret to inform you that this year´s graduation ceremony on September 7th and 8th will not take place. The reason is unclear situation regarding the pandemic of Covid-19, the increasing number of infected persons and constantly changing hygienic measures.

We are aware of that the personal experience of the festive moment will not fully replace anything, nevertheless we will try to do so on Friday, September 11th from 12 a.m. at least online. You can experience the graduation ceremony with your parents, relatives and friends at least in distance form by watching a non-traditional ceremony on the website fs.vsb.cz/en or youtube.com/fsostrava.

Thank you for your understanding and we would like to congratulate you once again on passing the final state examination.
