The International Week took place from 2. 5. 2022 - 4. 5. 2022.
The three-day meeting was launched by the VSB-TUO Rector, Prof. Václav Snášel at the Welcome ceremony. His speech was followed by the presentation of the Vice-Rector for Science and Research, Prof. Jana Kukutschová, and the presentation of the director of the Centre for Energy and Environmental Technologies, Prof. Stanislav Mišák.
Prof. Jana Kukutschová started the official working meeting presenting the priorities of research and development at VSB-TUO
(the PPT presentation is attached to the Meeting minutes). Prof. Kukutschová outlined major fields of potential collaboration as follows: joint research projects; sharing lecturers for PhD Academy; potential candidates for the International Scientific Board of VSB-TUO.
Prof. Snášel mentioned several other fields of future collaboration: joint supervision of Ph.D. thesis; thematically oriented research and education topics; students and staff mobility; joint events for both students and staff (summer schools, workshops, conferences etc.).
He outlined the networking meeting with the representatives of the faculties and research centers and recommended for the beginning the online form of the communication.
The afternoon session was dedicated to networking with VSB-TUO faculty representatives including Deans and Vice-Deans who presented concrete ideas of cooperation during individual discussions.
All the participating members had the opportunity to present their institutions either through PPT or video presentations.
Within the Erasmus programme partners from Tafila Technical University and Aleksandër Moisiu University of Durres participated in the International Week.
