After arriving at Tafila Technical University (TTU), Jordan (by bus from Amman), Dr. Rateb Alqatamin welcomed me at the International Project Office, who also ensured and sent me all the necessary confirmation documents necessary for my Erasmus+ stay.
I met the dean, management, and heads of departments of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and was shown around the TTU campus to see the older and brand-new university buildings, facilities, and laboratories.
I was guided by an assistant from the Project Office through the city and the surrounding desert country by going to the hotel, he also helped me visit some nearby sights.
I delivered a lecture on my area of expertise in general, and my particular research results and also presented the VSB-TU faculties, research centres, my department, and Erasmus exchange opportunities on the second day. After that, a discussion was held with several colleagues interested in an eventual collaboration with my department and staff exchange at the VSB-TUO.
