Summary
Subject pays attention to selected global problems and interprets them in economic consequences. Discussion is led on causes and consequences of these problems, their interconnections and urgency of their solution. Main tools used for the solution of global problems are introduced, importance is laid down on global governance and its main actors.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
1. To understand globalization process in its wider consequences in the world economy and other dimensions of social life
2. To identify and evaluate impact of globalization on main actors of international system
3. To explain impact of globalization on developed and developing countries
4. To frame main global problems and interpret them in economic consequences
5. To describe and evaluate approaches applied by international community for the solution of global problems
6. To identify involvement of non-governmental organizations to the solution of global problems.
