Summary
The course deals with the ways of building prices in the construction project by means of calculation and subsequent budgeting. It presents types of calculation procedures and basic rules for calculating individual items in the calculation formula. It defines pricing structures from the perspective of the investor and the contractor.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
The course provides basic information about the methods of price calculation in the building industry and their applicability in the preparation of investment construction, especially the tender.
Skills of the course graduates: knowledge of pricing in the building industry, knowledge of the types of prices and their applicability, application of costing procedures in pricing, ability to apply costing approaches in the tender of investment construction.
