The aim of this subject is to clearly and comprehensively inform students about the meaning, definition and components of environment and their protection from the safety point of view.

5. Floods in the industry.
6. Fire waters and their ecotoxicity.
7. Dangerous substances. Major accidents to the environment.
8. Preparedness for environmental accidents. Emergency plans and exercises.
9. Environmental Risk Analysis and Assessment.
10. Methodology – Hazard & Vulnerability Index. Case study.
11. Methodology - Environment Accident Index. Case study.
12. Excursion – Waste water treatment plant.
13. Excursion – SEVESO industrial site.
