Summary
Devices of automatic control their devided, characteristics (software and technical tools), control systems, hierarchical structure. Information acquisition elements (sensors, standardized signals, ...), transformation, amplification and transmission elements (operational amplifiers, A/D and D/A converters). Information processing elements (analog and digital controllers, compact and modular controllers). Members for logic control (combinational, sequential, logic PLCs). Members for use and display of information (analog displays, digital displays, operator stations). Connection of control systems to the technological process (industrial networks ILAN). Methodology of control chain design and implementation (computer aided design, examples).
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
The aim is to acquire knowledge and skills in the handling of control technology both in the field of hardware (sensors, actuators, unification modules, control systems) and software (configuration software for this technology).
