Summary
Necessary parts of hydraulics and hydrology are explained. Hydrostatic and hydrodynamic calculations are included. The methods of waterworks construction are described. On includes large dams and great reservoirs, little reservoirs and ponds, river regulations, continental waterways, irrigations and drains, water-supply, sewerage. Environmental impact assessment of waterworks is involved. On take into account touched czech laws.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
Teaching provides a basic knowledge of hydrology, the hydraulic calculations for water and building construction, maintenance and use of individual fields of water management structures construction.

10.Water Supply - 1 part: the development of water supply, water supply concepts and calculations
11.Water Supply - 2 part: water collection, water treatment plants, reservoirs, pipe networks, water supply
12.canalization, Part 1: development of sewerage, drainage design and calculations
13.Canalization, 2 part: sewerage, drainage
14.Time of reserve: Wastewater, surface water quality and protection against their pollution
