Summary
Subject purposes is to put student near problems with administration of corporate communication systems. This course takes place in laboratory which is equipped the newest versions of communication servers Siemens hipath4000,3000,2000 and partially hipath8000 as well.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
Understand the programming services and the creation of advanced switching systems.

Learning outcomes are set so that the students are able to identify and apply to tasks related to the management and programming of telephone exchanges.

Students can programm in language AMO, they know possibilities of communication servers series hipath, commonly used applications and services in corporate communication.
Course Contents
Lectures:
1. Introduction into corporate communication systems, HW structure of h4k, control, trunk and station modules, IP distributed architecture, System, team and supplementary services.
2. AMO language, structure of command, CLI, operation and maintenance terminal, AMO caching.
3. scribers configuration - system digital lines, analog lines and IP phones, AMO SCSU,SBCSU.
4. Digit analysis - AMO WABE, subscriber data - AMO SDAT and Personal data - AMO PERSI.
5. Pick up groups, com groups and hunting groups - AMO AUN, COMGRP, SA.
6. System functions, destinations and hotlines - AMO TAPRO, ZIEL, HOTLN, ISDN lines, SIP accounts and multi-line key systems, AMO KCSU.
7. Board configuration and basic maintenance of system - AMO BCSU, DSSU, SDSU, HISTA, LOGBK.
8. Fundamentals of networking - BUEND, COT, COP, TDCSU, RICHT, LODR, LDAT, LDPLN, REFTA.
9. Advanced applications - unified messaging, fixed mobile convergence, central telephone directory, CTI.
10. Call detail recording and billing.


Laboratories:
1. Configuration of IP subscribers and IP trunks. Supplementary services, using and description
2. AMO commands and configuration of maintenance terminal.
3. Subscriber configuration (submission of topic No.1 - 6 points).
4. Subscriber data and Personal data (submission of topic No.2 - 6 points).
5. Pick up groups, com groups and hunting groups (submission of topic No.3 - 9 points).
6. System functions, destinations and hotlines (submission of topic No.4 - 10 points).
7. ISDN lines and multi-line key systems, practical configuration.
8. Diagnostic, troubleshooting (submission of topic No.5 - 9 points).
9. Internetworking - configuration of trunk.
10. Configuration of selected advanced applications. Accountix - billing.
