Course Contents |

Introduction, history of CAD systems, basic concepts, links.
Start AutoCAD, splash screen, menus, using the input device terminology.
Design of 2D objects, different commands for drawing entities used in practice.
Editing methods, the selection of entities.
View drawing, drawing, zoom in and out.
Orbit for 3D modeling.
Using levels, colors and linetypes. Options command TLC.
State levels, the importance of working designer.
Using blocks, attributes, and Xref.
The definition of a block, block definition with attributes.
Dimensioning and tolerance, the use of dimension styles defined, their definitions, and editing.
Hatch, use hatch, hatch editing.
Plotting a drawing on the printer. Setting the conditions for printing.
