Summary |
---|
The course is devoted to the basics of general geology based on the cycle of geological processes and knowledge of endogenous and exogenous dynamic of the Earththat shape the Earth's crust and participate in changes in the Earth's surface. |
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit |
---|
The aim of the course is to master the essential features of construction and development of the Earth, an understanding of the geological cycle and principles of the functioning of endogenous and exogenous geological processes. |
Course Contents |
---|
1. Geology - disciplines and methods.
2. The rock cycle. Endogenous and exogenous dynamic of the Earth.
3. Earth crust - plate tectonics.
4. Fundamental principles of stratigraphy and sedimentology - bedding, formations etc.
