Georgius Agricola Scholarship

Students enrolled to study in the Exchange Programme at VSB-TUO can apply for the Georgius Agricola Scholarship.

The Georgius Agricola Scholarship is determined for paying expenses connected with a short-term study of a foreign student in bachelor's, master's and doctoral study programmes realized by VSB-TUO for the period of one to four months. It is especially determined for completing chosen subjects, a project completion, a seminar work, a part of thesis.

The Georgius Agricola Scholarship is not established for students who were given a scholarship from other international programmes.

Admission requirements

Students enrolled to study must fill out the form „Request for awarding the scholarship“ and bring it to the faculty coordinator, submit and upload in PDF file in IS EDISON following documents in English:

  • Submitted application documents for an Exchange Programme (Learning Agreement, Transcript of Records including GPA, English skills approval, copy of a passport).
  • CV with the given contact address, the telephone number and the e-mail address.
  • Motivation letter (in the extent of 1 page of A4).
  • Letter of reference from the sending university.
  • Any additional documents if required.

Application deadlines

Deadlines for submitting forms:

30 September for winter semester 
28 February for summer semester
