Summary
---
Upon successful completion of the course, the student:
– analyses the architecture and operating principles of 2G to 5G mobile radio networks,
– compares the technical principles, architectures, and transmission mechanisms of different generations of mobile networks,
– applies methods for analysing radio channels and basic parameters of mobile networks,
– evaluates radio link parameters and quality based on measurements,
– assesses current development trends in mobile networks, including 5G technologies and the prospects for 6G. |
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
---
Understand the structure, concept, and function of a mobile radio network. Learning outcomes are set so that students can identify, apply, and solve problems in the field of mobile radio networks.
