An exhibition gallery is located on the first floor of the central administration building in Ostrava-Poruba, on the main campus. The gallery has been opened since 1999 and presents works of art of students, graduates, university employees and other interested groups. VSB-TUO provides this representative area where visitors of the University can see interesting works of art. These are often solo exhibitions, but also to mark the anniversaries of departments, student organizations or of works of students from Ostrava secondary art schools. VSB-TUO values this link to the cultural life of the Region.
The gallery is lockable and normally available to visitors from 8 am to 4 pm during the week days, or as otherwise as agreed. The area is monitored by camera system, and if necessary exhibitors may have the works of art insured at their own expense. According to agreement with authorized University staff, a hanging system and photos frames are available in the gallery store, as well as for hire. Installation of works of art, the accompanying promotional materials, and organization of openings of exhibitions depend on the renters of the Gallery.

The VSB-TUO Gallery also contains the Gallery of Athletes, which presents the most successful student-athletes who represent the University in sports competitions of national and global importance.
