VŠB - Technical University of Ostrava was ranked in the top 2% of all world universities by Times Higher Education (THE), the well-known ranking organization.
This places VŠB-TUO in the grouping 301–350 in THE Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2016.
THE Times Higher Education releases an annual ranking of the world's best universities. THE is designed to gather full and accurate information to create profiles and rankings of universities.
Besides THE World University Rankings, THE also publishes BRICS and Emerging Economies rankings, in which VŠB-TUO was ranked 39th.
