The meeting, attended by Rector Igor Ivan and Vice-Rector for Cooperation and International Relations Marek Pagáč, focused on the development of international cooperation and strengthening the links between academia and practice. One of the key discussion topics was cooperation with industry and the adaptation of study programmes to current industry needs, which not only enhances graduates’ employability but also increases the attractiveness of the programmes offered.
During the meeting, new opportunities for cooperation between VSB–Technical University of Ostrava and the Embassy of Hungary were also discussed. The Embassy announced its intention to organize a conference in the autumn focused on start-ups and innovation, with potential involvement of our university. This initiative could significantly contribute to the development of joint projects and further strengthen ties in education and technological development.
