The Centre of Excellence for Safety Research (CESAR) is launching 30 under 40, a new initiative introducing the next generation of researchers in safety science.
Starting in October 2026, the series will give 30 scientists and researchers under the age of 40 the opportunity to share their research, current topics, and perspectives on the future of the field through online talks, discussions, and Q&A sessions.
The first speaker will be Ass. Prof. Claudia-F. López Cámara, Ph.D. from Eindhoven University of Technology, with her talk “Nanoparticle Safety in Gas-Phase Synthesis.” She will focus on occupational exposure risks related to nanoparticle powders and practical safety measures during handling, sampling, and cleaning.
The seminar will take place online via MS Teams on 30 October 2026 at 10:00 CET.
