Cooperation with schools

VSB - Technical University of Ostrava is involved in the training and education of children in secondary and elementary schools, and at kindergartens both in the Czech Republic and abroad.

We encourage our children to go in for science

In the long term and systematically VSB - Technical University of Ostrava cooperates with secondary and elementary schools, but also with kindergartens throughout the Czech Republic. Also, we are increasingly cooperating with schools abroad.

With active educational institutions we enter into partnerships, which generally facilitates the popularization of science and engineering programmes, and also improves the teaching or support of talented pupils.

Similarly to cooperating with schools, we lay emphasis on cooperating with various institutions, public administrations and local authorities. In the preparation of long-term and conceptual materials we put forth our visions and plans and seek the advice of school authorities, and the representatives of professional associations and other associations. A key role is played by the Moravian-Silesian Region, the Association of Industry and Transport of the Czech Republic, the Association of Grammar School Directors in the Czech Republic, and the Association of Secondary Technical Schools in the Czech Republic.

From kindergartens to universities

VSB-TUO encourages children to develop a good relationship with science from the beginning, through Science Days, interesting lectures and demonstrations, etc.
