STAKAN conference is a joint event of the Czech Statistical Society and the Slovak statistical and demographic society. These companies organize the Czech-Slovak conference every odd year and countries change regularly. In the Czech Republic, the conference is held under the name STAKAN and in the Slovak is named PRASTAN.
STAKAN is organized in collaboration with the Department of Mathematics and Science of the Palacky University in Olomouc and the Department of Applied Mathematics of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer VSB - Technical University in Ostrava this year.

- Application of statistical methods
- New directions in the development of statistical methods
