The talk introduces the latest research in solving the Ising model using quantum annealing and classical Ising machines. We will focus on SpinGlassPEPS, a new tensor-network-based heuristic algorithm designed for Ising-like problems with relevant connectivity structures. This approach combines a branch-and-bound strategy with tensor-network contractions to explore the low-energy spectrum effectively. The talk includes benchmarks of the method and a hands-on tutorial of SpinGlassPEPS.jl. Discover how these innovative techniques are advancing the search for ground states in complex systems.
