The Student Chamber of the Academic Senate of VŠB-TUO is once again organizing a survey to find the "Best Teacher According to Student Ratings." The entire survey is run entirely by students, so your vote will decide who will be ranked among the most popular teachers at our university this year.
How can you vote?
Voting period: from Monday, March 9, 9:00 a.m. to Wednesday, March 11, 2026, 15:00 p.m.
Voting location: directly in the university's Voting system.
How many votes do you have? Each student can support up to 3 teachers of their choice.
How will the votes be evaluated?
The poll is set up to be fair and transparent:
In order for the votes of first-year students to have the same weight as the votes of students in higher years (e.g., fifth-year students, who are fewer in number), the weight of the votes will be determined according to the number of voters in each year. The final ranking determined by your votes will be combined with the average teaching evaluation of teachers from the winter semester 2025/2026 and the summer semester 2025/2026.
All teachers who were listed in the Edison system for courses that received a total of at least five student evaluations during the above-mentioned semesters are automatically included in the voting.
When and where will we find out the results?
The results of the survey will be announced at the March ceremonial meeting of the Scientific Council of VŠB-TUO on Teachers' Day.
