Summary
The course develops selected issues of the corporate finance fundamentals; in addition, new issues and problems are studied and explained in order to support the quality of the financial decision-making. Attention is paid particularly to financial analysis, financial planning and valuation.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
The aim of the course is to introduse the students in selected areas of financial decision-making.
Students will be able:
- to introduce the importance of time value of money into decision-making,
- to apply investment criterions,
- to analyze and select optimal sources for company financing,
- to propose financial plan of a firm.
Course Contents
1. Podstata a principy finančního řízení a rozhodování.
2. Přístupy a metody hodnocení finanční výkonnosti firmy.
2. Elementární metody finančních analýz.
3. Pyramidové rozklady, analýza odchylek, predikční modely.
4. Kapitálová struktura firmy, náklady kapitálu, modely pro odhad nákladu kapitálu.
6. Optimalizace kapitálové struktury.
7. Kapitálové rozpočetnictví – cíl, základní principy, fáze, klasifikace investic. Predikce peněžních toků.
8. Kritéria hodnocení investičních projektů.
9. Analýza rizikových faktorů investic. Hodnocení a výběr vzájemně vylučitelných investic.
10. Zdroje financování firmy, základní pravidla financování, klasifikace. Porovnání vybraných zdrojů financování firmy.
11. Dividendy, dividendová politika firmy.
