Summary
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
The target of the subject is acquainting the students with principles and procedures for solving large emergency situations. In frame of studying the student will obtain basic information about the methods which are useable during progress of the territorial crisis plans, information about the system of determination of the critical infrastructure subjects and philosophy of its defending. Some part of lectures will be aimed to describe the system of economical and material measures for crisis situations and possible regulation measures and areas.
Course Contents
Crisis management as system:
o Basic terminology in the branch
o Planning process and the supporting tools (Possibilities and methods how to determine risks in crisis planning)
o System of the crisis states
o Critical infrastructure in the crisis planning
Crisis planning process:
o Crisis planning ideas and targets
o Comparing the philosophy for creating the emergency plans and the crisis plans
o Kinds of crisis plans from the point of view of tasks processor and position of processor in the crisis structure
o Common structure of crisis plans
o Type plan as a part of crisis plans
o System of economical and material measures for crisis situations
o Regulation measures
o Plans for crisis preparedness for organizations
o Possibility to use crisis plans during the area recovery time
