Summary
The graduate of course is able to describe the basic principles of fire tactics, he can define differencies between open area fires and closed area as well. The graduate is able to describe aspects of fires in buildings, that influence the development of fire and stability of buildings depending on the design system and size of the building. The gradute can evaluate the situation at the place of fire as well as quantify the amount of extinguishing substence and firefighters needed. The safety of the firefighters is crucial.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

3. Engine company operations (Offensive, defensive, No Attack)
4. Watter supply - hoseline selection, stretching and placement, shape of streams,
3D extinguishing, entry principles
5. Fog supply - extinguishing foam types and nozzles
6. Ventilation – natural ventilation, positive and negative pressure ventilation
7. Search and rescue
