The Academic Senate of VSB – Technical University of Ostrava (hereinafter AS VSB-TUO) at its meeting on January 28 announced the election of a candidate for the office of Rector of VSB-TUO for the term of office from September 1, 2025 to August 31, 2029.
The election schedule sets out the following procedure for electing a candidate for the office of Rector:
First, each of the candidates will briefly introduce themselves. The order of the candidates will be determined by lot. The allotted time for each presentation is 10 minutes. For each candidate, it will be indicated who nominated them. This will be followed by answers to questions from members of the academic community. The meeting will not be broadcast online.
Method of asking questions of the candidates:
